Rain-fed Farming
Most smallholder production in our network follows the rains. It keeps input costs low and suits staple crops like maize, beans and sorghum, but it makes planning and post-harvest handling critical. We work with farmers on timing, drying and storage so a good season does not go to waste.

Irrigation Farming
On irrigated plots we can plan production around buyer demand rather than the calendar, which gives more predictable volumes for vegetables and high-value crops, and a second cycle in the year. This is where we focus our own farming investment.
